Two more fully finished projects to share. The first is my June Crossstich Camp project. This is the easel that I fell in love with when I saw it at Starry Nights Studio on Etsy. The colors of this plaid and the fact that it was a large plaid hooked me and it has a bit of gold glitz running through it – what is not to love about this fabric.. I am so very pleased with the finishing pieces I received from her; the workmanship is top notch.
I finished by stitch on a piece of foam board, added some rick rack to the edges of it and then glued it to the easel. Ignore the blurry photo but you can see there are two fabric covered layers of chip board in both the front and back side of the easel and then the ribbon attaching them so that it sturdily stands up nicely.
And this morning I framed Faith of the Heart and here it is all done.
This is another one that is a gift and I’m very pleased with how it looks and especially love the fabric it is stitched on with its light peachy mottled look. Hope I have more of that in the stash – whatever it was. 🙂
They are both so pretty! I love that plaid also with just enough sparkle.
Thank you. Just couldn’t get that plaid out of my mind once I saw it.
I understand now that I see that plaid why you love it. It goes so perfectly with the cross stitch on the front. And the frame for the other one sets it off as well.
Thank you.
Very nice, both are perfect!
Both pieces are beautiful! I love your unique creative style.
