This was a very quick, fun little finish. Started late Saturday night and finished last night. I decided to leave the words in, and then added another line border and the border of blue and yellow pinwheels. The pinwheel design was taken from the center of one of the sunflowers.
It’s going to end up being just a bit too big just by a couple stitches to fit a standard 5 x 7 frame but I think I will turn it into a brick finish. I’m sure I’ve got some lovely sunflower fabric somewhere in the quilting stash to use for the finish. So after I finished stitching on this last night, I went back to one of my by WIPS and am stitching again on The First Thanksgiving.
