Merry Christmas to you all. May you enjoy the day no matter what you are doing. It just doesn’t seem that we should already be nearing the end of December.
It will be quiet day here. Mostly filled with stitching and whatever else I might decide to do.
Here is my progress from yesterday on the Christmas Eve start project called New Years Sampler.
I was concerned my white wasn’t show up when I had done the white under the packages. I think I’m going to leave that as is but the snowflake I did with two strands instead of one (all the rest is one) and I think that’s what I may do for all the white sections so it shows up better.
Merry Christmas! We are having a quiet day too. I can see the snowflake just fine, but you can outline it if you want it to stand out more.
There will definitely be no outlining – I hate doing that. But I think if I do all the white double stranded instead of single it will work. I need to get to one of the larger motifs with white in it to tell.
A Merry Christmas to you also. No snow here in Michigan, so no white Christmas.
Merry Christmas! You got a lot done in an attempt stitching.
Afternoon
Denise, wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas! I think the snowflake looks great but I had to squint to see the white stitches under the packages. I like the color you used for th e coffee mug.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas! Love your progress and using a single stand looks great! I never think it’s going to work for me but I think it’s about the fabric used. I will have to take another look at using a single strand on 18ct. Your colors are looking wonderful on your fabric and using the two stands for white was a good idea!
