I had ordered three hornbooks a couple weeks ago and as I was getting closer to the date I was going to be out of town on vacation, the seller emailed and said she was waiting for a new release pattern book I had ordered to come in which had been delayed from the designer/shipper. I got these from Th eCottage Needle on Etsy and I really like them.
Great communication from this seller – I’m sure I’ll be going back at some point in the future. When she told me it was going to be delayed, I asked if she could change the mailing address and send it to my work address insteawd so it wouldn’t be sitting outside my door when I was out of town. Not a problem and it was waiting at the office for me when I went in on Monday. The largest hornbook is 10″ square and the smallest 4″. I think the smallest one will get a Halloween design on it.
This is the Halloween book that I was waiting for. I love all five of the designs that are included in it.
If I had to pick a favorite, it would be a toss up between the Ghosts & Goblins and the one below it with the crow pulling a cart of jack-o-lanterns. There might have been a envelope of other charts delivered from a different source today too but we’ll talk about that another day (I haven’t even opened that envelope yet!).
