Goodness June seems to be flying by – can’t believe it’s nearly the end of the month.
I got a bit of a start last night on Free & Brave – the chart I showed yesterday. The fabric is a bit darker than it’s showing in the photo so the white of the house really is more distinctive. The fabric is Picture This Plus 16 ct Oaken. I also changed the red and blue floss because I didn’t have the called for colors.
I also plan to pull the fabric and threads to start on Happy Birthday America – a cute little pin drum that uses a little paper mache box to shape the “cake” and the lid is painted for the “cake stand” with a wooden piece that gets painted for the leg of the cake stand. The printed linen with the alphabet on the sides of the cake came with the pattern.
On to Sunday Pattern Adoption stuff – patterns that I am done with are offered free of charge for adoption by a new stitcher who wants to stitch that chart themself. All you have to do is leave a comment with the required word in it listed below on this blog post, have a US mailing address, and check back next Sunday to see if you’ve won. If you name is picked by the random number generator, you need to email me PRIVATELY (email address is on blog page below my photo). If the person chosen to adopt the pattern does not claim it by the next weekend following the announcement on their name – it will go back into the rotation for a future drawing.
Last week’s chart for adoption – one of the Farmhouse Christmas series called Pinewood Farm, has been adopted by Carol Denning. Carol – no need to email me your address – I have it from the last time you won. 🙂
Catherine Dickenson 1840 by Scattered Seed Samplers, which I just finished, is the chart for adoption this week. If you’d like to stitch this yourself, please leave a comment with the word Scattered in it.
