I have gotten things off the blocking boards, off the needles, seamed and finished this week.
First up the two cowls for ESK Q1KAL. Pattern is Simple Yet Effective Cowl from TinKanKnits. The first one can be worn as a double loop.
Second single loop is out of the Yaksi yarn I wanted to try.
Last Sunday I started the Just Slip It – 2018 cowl pattern I finished it off last night. Because I decided to end it a bit differently and do a lazy three needle bind off, I got a stripe in the cowl. Normally that would be the back of the neck and not noticeable but I rather like how it looks with the stripe so will wear it showing (if I don’t gift it).
The cowl was a very fun, easy knit and I may need to make another with a more variegated yarn and a solid.
And another pair of Cozy Fingerless Gloves are knit – I just need to seam this pair.
My striped cowl is getting very close to finished. Just a few more stripes to get it to the length I want.
