Shifts Progress and spoiler

If you are doing the ESK Yarnathon and you don’t want to see

what the super secret yarn for the 10K level is this year,

then stop reading this post because

at the end of it  I will have

a photo of what my lovely 10K prize

yarn looks like

in all it’s squishy,

wonderful,

colorful

loveliness.

There you have been warned.

But first – four photos of my Shifts in progress.  I love all these colors together.

The photo below shows how far I had gotten early this morning.

the photo above makes the section with the yarn with the most yellow in it look almot like an argyle pattern.

The photo above shows three diferent sections — double strand lightest green, then one strand lightest green and one strand blue/yellow, the two strands blue/yellow.

The photo above is farther along the line – two strands guppie (the light blue/green multi), then one strand guppie and one strand of the pinky multicolored, and then two strands of the pink multi.

And here is the lovely yarn that was the ESK 10K prize – it’s Malabrigo Rios – a worsted weight – and the exclusive color (for the underwater themed Yarnathon) is called Deep Sea Dash.    I’ve already wound this yarn and cast on a pair of fingerless mitts with it.
