Back in the Sewing Room

Ah – the cold has gone from constant nose blowing and being unable to breathe and spending much time in very hot steamy showers —  to having a chest full and head full of crud but being able to breathe — and sleep.   Yes I know you really wanted all this information — 🙂   Yesterday I actually got some knitting done (in between naps) and today I’m off to the sewing room — not  under the influence of cold medicine– so I can operate a rotary cutter.  LOL

I have several things I want to work on – more flying geese for the challenge quilt, more pieces to get ready for the Knitter’s Gifts blocks I’m trying to catch up on as well as DPPAS blocks I need to catch up on,  and mystery quilt cutting info to write up.

Yesterday my fabrics for my version of the Seeing Stars Mystery quilt arrived. Flash, as usual, has them washed out a bit.

DSCN4016 So we’ll see how much I accomplish before thinking some knitting and a nap sound like a good idea. 😉

First up on the agenda – tidy the sewing room table.  I need to see if I have all the pieces cut for my flying geese or if I need to finish cutting those and then I can move that fabric aside.

Time to refill the coffee cup and find a movie to watch while get to work.
