Loopy Fabric Challenge Completed!

I finally finished off sewing down the binding and embroidering a few finishing touches last night.

For the challenge you chose a Short Stack (fat quarter pack) and added one additional fabric not by the same manufacturer as the Short Stack you chose.

20131230This is the Short Stack I started with and I added the solid on the left.  I used my Too Tired To Give A Hoot design for the center and just sort of “winged it” (very bad pun) for the borders using as much of the other fabrics as I could before running out .

My favorite part – the fabric in his wings

 Here he is all completed.

  2. How Cute!! And anything with musical fabrics is a good thing! I’ve been saving musical fabrics for years (to make my strings-teacher daughter a quilt) and I would bet I have close to 100 different ones in my stash right now. Yes, I have enough stash I could probably start my own store!!! 🙂
