Let It Shine Yardage

Referring to the quilt image shown, the yardage information for this project is listed below:

Yardage:

Yardage is based on 42” of useable width of fabric from selvage to selvage and is estimated by EQ7.  I have not yet made this quilt, but their estimates I normally find sufficient.  Yardage is only given for the background and border fabrics.  Hit your scrap bins, buckets, bags and drawers for the fabrics used in the scrappy window panes blocks.

Background:  3.0 yards

Green:  1-1/3 yards

Bluey Purple:  1-1/3 yards

Gold:  1-1/3 yards

This information is also be updated on the Stitchin with Justquiltin main project page (located at the big button in the sidebar by the same name).  Remember you need to go there to collect the pattern and find all other information relating to these free patterns.

Cotton Tablerunner

project4 - tablerunner I was originally planning to make a pair of placements with this cotton yarn but I got a bit carried away.  I didn’t remember to measure how far I had gotten before starting to wrap the finished woven edge around the take up bar so now I have no clue how long this is.  So, since I don’t know when to stop the first one and start the second, it has just become a tablerunner.  Heck, I’m flexible – that will work too.  I like the little flecks of color in this yarn.

Let It Shine – Sew along weekend

Don’t forget – the next Stitchin with Justquiltin project will be Let It Shine.  It is a truly scrap happy project.  The more fabrics the better.

Also don’t forget to join/load your photos to the Flickr group if you want to be entered into the drawing for the Just Stitching Totebag.

tote  Information on the drawing and how to join the Flickr group are  on this post.

I’ll do a blog post with general yardage info this weekend sometime — just the background and the fabrics used in the borders.  The rest you’ll just need smaller scraps for.
