The Blustery Day

I feel like Piglet in that Winnie the Pooh movie – the wind has been howling for two days making the wind chills very chilly indeed.  But a slight warm up is headed this way.  If the wind just stops, I’ll be happy.

The slipper making marathon continues.  I’m beginning to suffer quilting withdrawal.  It’s been two weeks since I had a needle and thread in my hand or the sewing machine out.  But first things first, finish the Christmas presents.

Here’s the latest pair of slippers finished – these are toasty warm since they’re crocheted with a double strand of yarn.  Made from the same book at the previous blog post.  Tonight I should be able to finish off the current pair I’m working on and then there’s two more pairs to go…..
