Here’s photos of finished BOM blocks.

i love these patterns so looking forward to starting what size background you would recommend
Did you download the general info page? That information can be found there.
I was just wondering…. is everyone doing hand applique or are some of you using fusible or machine applique. The blocks all look wonderful. I have to take pics of March and April and send to Denise. Feb is going to be re-done as I am not pleased with it.
I am doing hand applique using the starch method
Not all of them are hand appliqued – I can’t remember who but I know at least one person is doing machine applique.
I’m using the fusible method. I learned a new-to-me method in a Kim Diehl class I took recently so may try that in the future. And yes, Denise, it uses nylon thead, but it looks hand appliqued.
I’m envious you were able to take a class of hers. I love her books.
I am doing a machine applique method using freezer paper (I learned the technique from a Kim Diehl book). I am using Invisafil (by Wonderfil) thread instead of nylon thread, it is softer and less visible.
I like the Invisafil – so much better than the old nylon threads.
Dear Denise,
thank you for posting my Blocks. It´s great to see them with allthe other beautiful blocks. I´m looking forward to the next one…:-))
Many greetings from germany
Sigrid
