So Camp Loopy 3 project is completed. It’s vital statistics are:
Pattern is TGV - very beginner friendly if you’re looking for an easy knit and easy to adjust the size on to what type of yarn you use and how big you want it.
Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash in Montmartre purchased at The Loopy Ewe.
It’s been a great three months of camp. I like the challenge of finding patterns I want to make that fit the requirements for each months’ project (and the requirements are fairly basic so you can always find tons of items to make). So here’ a recap of my Camp Loopy projects for 2013.
The TGV above – project 3 which had to use at least 800 yards of yarn (mine has approximately 1,000 yards).
Project 2 was Wandering the Moor – it had to use at least 500 yards and be a pattern made or qued at least 1,000 times in Ravelry. Madelinetosh Pashmina – an elegantly soft yarn to work with.
and project 1 — a one skein project using a yarn we hadn’t used before in lace weight or fingering weight yarn. I had to go back and look this one up it seems like I made it so long ago! It was Kinta – Space Cadet fingering yarn in “Quilt Blue”.
But the fun will continue with the Fourth Quarter Challenge at TLE but will have to wait to find out what that might be and if I decide to participate.
