It’s time for the next installment for Christmas Town Sampler.
We’ll be making the Business District. Make each building out of the same fabrics or dig into those scraps and make each one different.
Most importantly, remember that you’re using a scant 1/4″ seam allowance. With all the seams across this block, if each one were off by just 1/8″, by the time you were done your block width would be over an inch too small so your borders wouldn’t fit. Be sure to measure after sewing that first block to make sure your block is the correct size.
Be sure to stop by Judy, Sheryl and Susan’s blogs to collect the rest of this month’s blocks! Links to their blogs are on my CTS page.
The link to the pattern pdf is on the CTS page in the left sidebar at the very bottom of that blog page.
I hope, i can write here.
Thanks for this mystery.

I can not use my normal email adress. only WP twitter and facebook allowed. So sad.
Per instructions above, go to CTS page in the sidebar – that big button at the top of the left sidebar with the picture of the CTS quilt will take you to the CTS page when you click on it (just like last month if you collected the blocks then) or go to the “PAGES” section at the bottom of the left sidebar and click on the CTS link. Both will open the CTS project page and then go to the bottom of the page for the pattern link.
Sorry looking at the wrong building all is good I found my 4 1/2″ door sorry again denise love the project look forward to each step. Thank-you again for organizing this project and have a wonderful day

I’ve followed your instructions and still can’t locate this months instructions. I have a master’s degree and still can’t figure it out – I click where you say and get the original announcement……. and then click on the 2012 christmas town and it goes round and round and round……… no patter…………
I’m not sure how to make it any more clearer. If you click on the button on the right sidebar – yes you get the original announcement. That is the CTS page – everything about this project is posted on that PAGE so it’s all in one place. New additions are added at the BOTTOM of the PAGE (right above the comments section) where it says CLICK HERE TO GET MY AUGUST BLOCK, BUSINESS DISTRICT right below where you would have gotten last months’ block that said CLICK HERE TO GET MY JULY BLOCK.

Aha – mystery solved!
Yes that’s the correct size per the instructions – so guess I’m not sure what the question is.

FINALLY! Thanks for the hints – I found it………. it was right there……
Thanks, Denise!
